2Pi-Jobs is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
The Communications and Public Diplomacy Manager leads the strategic delivery of communications, public diplomacy, media and stakeholder engagement for Australia Awards Philippines. Working closely with DFAT, the Australian Embassy and program stakeholders, the role will strengthen understanding of the program’s impact, support Australia–Philippines relationships and ensure communications are engaging, inclusive, accessible and aligned with Australian Government and program priorities.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of Australia Awards Philippines’ communications and public diplomacy activities.
Develop and implement strategic communications, engagement and promotional initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with DFAT, government partners, alumni, media and key stakeholders.
Provide strategic communications advice to senior leadership and support program visibility and reputation.
Oversee communication products, campaigns and content across digital, media and event platforms.
Monitor communications performance and identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and program impact.

Other Educational Qualification

Relevant tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, international relations or a related discipline.

Skills

Demonstrated experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, public diplomacy or media management.
Proven ability to develop and deliver communication strategies, campaigns and engagement activities.
Strong relationship management skills and experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing high-quality communication products.
Strategic, collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.
