2Pi-Jobs is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
IOM is seeking a Project Intern to support the implementation of various projects under the Programme Support Unit in the Republic of Korea. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in IOM ROK’s movement operations to support the safe and orderly movement of refugees and vulnerable migrants moving through the Incheon International Airport, including managing the movement data, compiling relevant documents, and providing relevant procurement support. 
  • Assist with administrative work related to the refugee resettlement to the ROK to support the successful implementation of the project, including documentation of project results and assistance in relevant meetings. 
  • Support the administrative work for ad-hoc return and reintegration assistance to the ROK through documentation and procurement support. 
  • Participate and assist in stakeholder meetings and project development on domestic migrant agendas in the ROK, including research, meeting preparations, and documentation. 
  • Provide logistical and administrative assistance for the ANDEX capacity building programme on travel document verification funded by KOICA. 
  • Assist in arranging and coordinating mission events such as seminars, conferences, meetings, and others, including relevant logistics. 
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned. 

Other Educational Qualification

Enrolled in last year of Bachelor’s degree programme or graduated Bachelor Degree programme or equivalent in international development, international relations, political or social sciences, migration studies, human rights, or related field. 

Skills

  • Experience in desk research.
  • Experience in international, non-governmental and/or government organization, and project support and implementation is desirable.
  • Prior experience in an international environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in office software package (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with humanitarian assistance, international development, and migration issues.
  • Professional proficiency in both Korean and English (oral and written) is required.
