First impressions are everything When you are starting a new job, it can seem as if everyone is sizing you up in order to put some sort of label on you—and frankly, they are. It’s called ‘first impressions’ and they can make a monumental difference in your career success. Why are first impressions so important? Because what you say—in action, attitude and appearance—creates a perception about you that can stay with you for years to come. If you want to make a positive impression with your new coworkers, you have to be intentional about it! Here are some hints on how to make sure you’re sending the right message: Action
