Job Responsibilities

Design and develop architectural plans and specifications using advanced software tools, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations while meeting client expectations.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and aesthetic designs.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure that construction aligns with architectural designs, making necessary adjustments as required.
Prepare detailed drawings and models that communicate design intent clearly to contractors and construction teams, facilitating seamless execution of projects.
Evaluate and select materials based on durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, contributing to the overall quality and environmental responsibility of projects.
Assist in project budgeting and scheduling, providing accurate estimates and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in architectural engineering, implementing innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Participate in client presentations and meetings, effectively communicating design concepts and addressing any concerns or feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
Mentor junior staff and interns, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Skills

Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, essential for creating accurate and detailed architectural plans.
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance and safety in all architectural designs.
Excellent project management skills, enabling effective coordination of various project phases and stakeholders.
Ability to conduct thorough site evaluations, assessing conditions and making informed design decisions.
Creative problem-solving skills, crucial for overcoming design challenges and developing innovative architectural solutions.
Effective communication skills, allowing for clear articulation of design concepts and collaboration with clients and team members.
Understanding of sustainable design principles, promoting environmentally friendly practices in architectural projects.
