Dactarbari Sales Executive

Job Description

  • Approach residential and commercial prospects directly at their doorsteps.
  • Present Dactarbari’s product portfolio, highlight benefits, and address customer queries.
  • Achieve daily and weekly sales targets set by the management.
  • Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and sales in the provided CRM system.
  • Gather market feedback and report competitor activities in the assigned area.
  • Ensure proper handling of product demos, brochures, and promotional material.
  • Follow up with interested customers to close sales and secure payments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct door‑to‑door sales within a designated 60‑square‑feet territory covering Monipur, Pikpara, and Mirpur 2.
  • Identify and engage potential customers, present product offerings, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Maintain a daily schedule of visits, ensuring coverage of the entire assigned area and timely follow‑ups.
  • Collect and record customer information, preferences, and feedback in the company CRM system.
  • Provide product demonstrations, answer queries, and address objections to facilitate purchase decisions.
  • Achieve and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as number of visits, leads generated, conversion rate, and revenue per area.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local promotions, flyers, and events that drive foot traffic.
  • Report daily and weekly sales activities, challenges, and market insights to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain professional appearance and uphold the brand image of Dactarbari during all customer interactions.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing, and competitor activities to effectively position Dactarbari’s offerings.

Other Educational Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Any sales, marketing or business development certification (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Diploma in Marketing)
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, internet browsing)
  • Good command of Bangla and English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to understand and interpret product catalogs and promotional material

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities to secure profitable deals.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management.
  • Deep understanding of Dactarbari’s product portfolio and market positioning.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and forecast trends.
  • Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
  • Time‑management and organizational skills to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.

Additional Requirements

  • Proven experience in door‑to‑door sales, preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.

  • Strong negotiation abilities and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Physical stamina to walk and cover a 60‑foot radius area continuously throughout the workday.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the Monipur, Pikpara, and Mirpur‑2 neighborhoods.
  • Own reliable transportation (bicycle, motorbike, or car) for quick movement between houses.
  • Ability to maintain accurate daily sales logs and update the company CRM system.
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive attitude toward generating leads and closing sales.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by market demand.
  • Basic literacy in Bangla and English for reading product materials and communicating with customers.
