2Pi-Jobs is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the Head of Programmes (Humanitarian), and the direct supervision of the Programme Officer (MHPSS), the Senior MHPSS Associate will support the MHPSS Unit in capacity-strengthening initiatives, reporting processes, partner coordination, and the implementation of MHPSS activities. The incumbent will contribute to liaison with partners and relevant authorities, support programme implementation, reporting and documentation for MHPSS activities, and assist in research and evidence-generation activities. The Senior MHPSS Associate will contribute to programme development and implementation efforts and support the Disability Inclusion portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of MHPSS programme activities, including the preparation, adaptation and dissemination of programme materials and guidance in line with international standards and IOM frameworks.
  • Support coordination and information exchange with government counterparts, partners, and MHPSS coordination structures to promote effective collaboration and service delivery.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of capacity-building activities, including logistical coordination, preparation of materials and documentation of outcomes.
  • Support MHPSS research, assessments, and evidence-generation activities, including data collection, analysis, documentation, and dissemination of findings.
  • Support the preparation of MHPSS programme documents, concept notes, proposals, and guidance materials by compiling information, drafting inputs and consolidating feedback.
  • Support monitoring, learning, and documentation processes by identifying lessons learned, good practices, and recommendations for programme improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and consolidation of reports, analytical summaries, and programme documentation to support quality and consistency.
  • Support the implementation of disability inclusion activities, including the organization of assessments, capacity-building activities, awareness-raising events, and accessibility arrangements, and assist with related administrative and logistical processes.
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Other Educational Qualification

  • High school diploma with six years of relevant experience; or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant experience.

Skills

  • Experience supporting the implementation and administration of MHPSS programmes in humanitarian or development settings.
  • Experience contributing to assessments, research activities, data collection, analysis, or evidence-generation processes in humanitarian or development settings.
  • Experience liaising and coordinating with government counterparts, NGOs, community stakeholders, and inter-agency coordination mechanisms.
  • Experience supporting Disability Inclusion programmes or initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with international organizations, UN agencies, or NGOs is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills. 
  • Ability to draft reports, correspondence, and programme documentation. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian is required.
