Job Responsibilities
Digital monitoring system (DMS) and data management: Support Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS) and other relevant government agencies to strengthen the DMS and EMIS system with all new features related to curriculum implementation, wellbeing, monitoring, mentoring and implementation.
Learners active engagement and quality enhancement through gamified learning: Support DSHE for enhancement and deployment of the mobile game titled 'Change Agent' to enhance adolescents' knowledge and understanding of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) and promote internet safety through pubic platforms and interactive, engaging contents. Also support to enhance key digital platforms with technical improvement and content updates.
Teachers’ professional development through ICT: Support National Academy for Education Management (NAEM) to develop and implement an integrated training and learning management system (ITLMS) to ensure overall course management, training enrollment and online registration, training progress tracking, integrated e-learning, reporting and analysis, learning content management, certification and compliance management, integrated communication and collaboration and system integration.
GIGA School Mapping Implementation Plan: Develop a detailed plan to accelerate GIGA school mapping, ensuring connectivity milestones, equipment deployment, and training needs are documented and addressed and coordinate with BANBEIS, ICT Division, BTCL and other government agencies for smooth implementation.
Education for OoSC, Skills and Employability for Oo SA & Young People:
Real time monitoring system for out of school children and adolescents: Support Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE) and other government agencies for development and enhancement of a Real Time Monitoring (RTM) system to collect data and monitoring overall project implementation of UNICEF run ‘out of school children programme- Let Us Learn (LUL), Educate the Most Disadvantaged Children (EMDC), Ability Based Accelerated Learning (ABAL) and Skill Focused Literacy (SKILFO). Also support development and enhancement of RTM system to ensure accurate and effective management of the Alternative Learning Programme (ALP) through continuous tracking, recording, reporting and assessment of the overall performance indicators, and processes.
Aggregation of LMS and Job portals: Design and implement a conceptual framework for the aggregator of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and job portals for all children and adolescents aligning with Generation Unlimited goals and integrating diverse learning resources.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor degree in any discipline
Other Educational Qualification
University degree (Master degree or equivalent) in education, social sciences, social work, statistics, development studies, or other relevant technical field
Any professional certificate or diploma on Edtech or ICT and Pedagogy is considered as an asset for this position.
Skills
Minimum of 8 years of progressive professional experience in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of digital education platforms, EdTech solutions, program planning, and/or education-focused monitoring and evaluation systems.
Demonstrated experience in supporting technology-enabled curriculum development, interactive digital learning content, and online course design for diverse learner groups.
Prior involvement in education continuity initiatives, instructional design, or digital learning solutions during emergencies or crises will be considered a strong asset.
Familiarity with user-centered design, digital pedagogy, and the integration of learning analytics in EdTech platforms is desirable.
Relevant experience in a UN system agency or similar organization is considered as an asset.
Work experience in developing countries and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
