Job Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and studies related to laws, regulations, cases, and matters referred by the department.
Collect and analyze legal information and supporting documents required for preparing legal studies and opinions.
Draft legal memoranda, responses, and preliminary legal opinions, and submit them to the direct supervisor for review and approval.
Review contracts, agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), tenders, and other legal documents, and provide legal comments and recommendations.
Examine inquiries received from organizational units and provide appropriate legal opinions.
Monitor amendments to relevant local and federal laws, regulations, and decisions affecting the Authority's operations, and prepare periodic legal updates.
Prepare comparative legal studies of relevant legislation and regulations when required.
Contribute to the drafting and review of policies, regulations, organizational decisions, and internal procedures to ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
Monitor legal cases and disputes involving the Authority and prepare periodic progress reports.
Coordinate with external law firms and legal consultants regarding assigned legal matters and cases.
Prepare legal documents and supporting materials required for committees, meetings, judicial authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Follow up on the implementation of court judgments and legal decisions issued in favor of or against the Authority in coordination with the relevant parties.
Draft legal correspondence addressed to government, judicial, and semi-government entities.
Participate in administrative investigations and specialized committees when assigned, and prepare related legal reports.
Establish and maintain a database of legislation, court judgments, and legal opinions relevant to the Authority's activities.
Archive and maintain legal documents, contracts, and case files in accordance with approved procedures while ensuring confidentiality.
Prepare periodic legal reports and statistics and submit them to the direct supervisor.
Provide legal support to various organizational units on day-to-day legal procedures and transactions.
Contribute to promoting legal awareness among employees through legal circulars and awareness materials.
