2Pi-Jobs is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
Seeking a Planning Engineer with 15+ years of experience, including 5 years in the GCC, to oversee scheduling and progress tracking for a masterplan and infrastructure development under a PMC contract. The role involves project scheduling, critical path analysis, risk assessment, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules for master planning and infrastructure development.
  • Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with PMC teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Conduct critical path analysis (CPA) and resource allocation planning.
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and project forecasts for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual schedules and client requirements.
  • Utilize planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.
  • Support risk assessment and claims analysis related to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to optimize sequencing.
  • Attend progress meetings and provide expert planning insights to project leadership.

Other Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in construction planning, including 5 years in the GCC.
  • Strong expertise in Master Planning & Infrastructure Development.
  • Experience working in an engineering consultancy within a PMC contract.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant planning tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
