Job Responsibilities
Organize and coordinate events for the launch and initiating the implementation of the updated NSPS (2025-2033)
Support with facilitating the updated NSPS launch event including arrangements for the venue, invitations and coordination with different stakeholders and overall documentation.
Drafting and finalizing official letter on the NSPS action plan for all relevant NSPS focal points.
Create a schedule for monthly meetings with the NSPS taskforces and the steering committee on NSPS implementation.
Prepare official letters and invitations for quarterly meetings with the NSPS taskforces and steering committee.
Coordinate logistics for meetings including reservation of rooms, material preparation and printing.
Facilitate meetings and follow up on the implementation of NSPS communication activities and public awareness campaign.
Support the implementation of a documentation mechanism for coordination activities between the NSPS Task Force including progress monitoring on meetings, workshops and events
Develop meeting minutes for all meetings conducted on the NSPS implementation.
Store meetings minutes in a meeting tracker database.
Share minutes with the relevant entities and conduct necessary follow-ups.
Develop monthly progress reports on NSPS taskforce as well as ISU engagements (including documenting meetings, workshops, minutes of meetings and attendees)
Support with designing, reviewing and editing NSPS related documents and briefs.
Support the data collection and analysis on the NSPS implementation (including indicators and action plan)
Monitor media coverage on NSPS related activities and topics and provide regular updates.
Support the collection of data on NSPS indicators and the NSPS action plan from the 70 focal points involved.
Assist in the interpretation of data and the preparation of presentations ad reports.
Other Educational Qualification
Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the assignment in business administration, ICT or communication.
Skills
Experience: A minimum of 3 year of experience in project support, or research or monitoring and evaluation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong organisational skills and time management with the ability to coordinate multiple events at the same time
Experience in drafting official documents and preparing minutes of meeting
Excellent interpersonal skills required for high level engagement with government departments and other stakeholders.
Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
Languages: Excellent English and Arabic verbal, writing, and editing skills
