The government has decided to resume the online transfer of assistant teachers of public primary schools, after being closed for a long time.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain will officially inaugurate the program at the meeting room of the Ministry on Wednesday, says a press release.
Ministry's Senior Secretary Aminul Islam Khan, Director General of Primary Education Mohibur Rahman will attend the event.
According to the Ministry, the decision has been taken to make the transfer of primary school teachers easy and hassle-free and to avoid sit-in for teachers.
Earlier, due to the Covid pandemic, the implementation of this program was delayed.
On June 30 this year, the piloting of this program was inaugurated by Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque in Gazipur.
All the teachers who applied for transfer till July 15, 2022, will be brought under the transfer.
After the completion of the piloting program, the online transfer of assistant teachers will begin across the country.
