Job Responsibilities
Contribute to the implementation of annual partnership engagement and resource mobilization plans.
Work with Programmes/communications/PM&E to identify partnership and resource mobilization needs, broker resource mobilization agreements to meet those needs, and define key donor recognition/engagement strategies for major bilateral donors.
Enhance accountability and performance management by developing and maintaining effective monitoring tools, including dedicated dashboards, UNISON, regular Resource Mobilization task forces, and consultations with LAC Regional Office and headquarters.
Develop and maintain deep knowledge and familiarity of prospective partners and relevant stakeholders, contributing to a database of key contacts.
Lead preparation and dissemination of various information products, including factsheets/infographics, briefing notes, human interest stories and social media products.
Support quality assurance to outgoing donor reporting and engagement content as required.
Work with Programmes and communication sections to maximize donor recognition through strengthened reporting visibility and engagement activities.
Contribute to the development of new partnership and resource mobilization practices and approaches by formulating recommendations for action based on on-going monitoring, analyzing current trends within designated partners and formulating recommendations for strategy approaches and message development.
Support Programmes with grant management in line with donor conditions and UNICEF procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure the success of the team, including guiding, training, and coaching short-term staff, including interns and consultants, as needed on donor reporting and other RM tasks.
Other Educational Qualification
Education: An advanced university degree (Masters) is required in one of the following fields: international relations, political science, public relations / communications, international development, or another relevant technical field.
Skills
A minimum of five years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public affairs, programme management, resource mobilization, external relations, or other relevant area.
Experience working in an emergency setting is required.
Experience working with UNICEF/UN at country level is an asset.
Developing country work experience and knowledge of Haiti’s context is considered an asset.
Language Requirements: Good working knowledge of English and French is required. Knowledge of Haitian creole is an asset.
