Senior Programme Associate

Job Responsibilities

  • ​​Independently coordinate and oversee the implementation of assigned LMI projects against approved workplans, outputs, targets and donor requirements.Identifydelivery challenges, recommend corrective action and follow up on agreed measuresto support achievement of agreed results.
  • ​Coordinate and monitor the financial, administrative and operational aspects of assigned projects, including budget utilisation, procurement, logistics and project documentation,analysevariances and operational risks and recommend corrective actions fortimelyresolution.
  • ​Coordinate assigned project activities relating to employment creation, entrepreneurship, skills development, labour mobility, private-sector engagement, diaspora investment and economic inclusion, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, supportingtimely delivery of planned outputs.
  • ​Facilitate coordination and maintain effective partnerships with government counterparts, private sector actors, UN agencies, donors, civil society organisations, diaspora networks and other relevant stakeholders to supportprogramme implementation and promote labour migration governance.
  • ​Plan and coordinate capacity-building activities, technical workshops, consultations and dialogue forums, document agreed outputs, monitorfollow-up actions and stakeholder commitments to support implementation objectives.
  • ​Research, analyse and present information on labour market trends, labour migration, employment, private sector development, diaspora engagement and relevant national and regional policy developments to inform programme implementation and planning.
  • ​Draftand review correspondence, briefing notes, presentations, donor reports and other programme documentation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with our client and donor requirements.
  • ​Monitor project performance against agreed indicators, document results, good practices and lessons learned, and contribute inputs to knowledge products, concept notes and project proposals for programme effectiveness.
  • ​Provideproceduralguidance to project staff and consultants andmonitor the performance of Implementing Partners (IP) and service providers against agreed deliverables, contractual requirements and our client standards, supporting compliance and delivery.
  • ​Perform such other relevant duties as maybe assigned.

Other Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
