Position: HR Executive

Location: Mirpur. Dhaka

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive HR Executive to support the HR department in managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full recruitment cycle: job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and coordinate training initiatives.
  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and presentations for management.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and wellness programs.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
  • Update and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and procedural documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR or related roles.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Skills

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience with talent acquisition tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS).
  • Familiarity with payroll software and benefits administration.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) , HR

Skills

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Ability to source, screen, interview, and select candidates effectively across various levels and functions.
  • Employee Relations: Skilled in handling employee grievances, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Performance Management: Experience designing and implementing performance appraisal systems, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: Knowledge of labor laws, company policies, and ensuring organizational compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Training & Development: Ability to assess training needs, coordinate learning programs, and evaluate their impact on employee growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration: Understanding of salary structures, benefits programs, and payroll processes.
  • HRIS & Data Management: Proficiency with HR information systems, data entry, reporting, and analytics for informed decision‑making.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey policies and information clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking abilities to manage multiple HR initiatives simultaneously.
  • Confidentiality & Ethics: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of employee information and upholding ethical standards.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives and contribute to workforce planning.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of progressive experience in HR management, preferably in a mid‑size to large organization.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation & benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with business objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making and reporting on HR metrics.
  • Leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and managing a team of HR professionals.
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SC, PHR, SPHR) are highly desirable.
