BUET planning to introduce on-campus jobs for students

Authorities of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) are planning to introduce on-campus jobs for students.

Most BUET students usually earn money from providing private tuition, which takes up time that can be invested in studies, university authorities believe.   

BUET authorities said on-campus jobs can help towards lessening the students' dependence on private tuition.

Three in four youth lack skills needed for employment, says new report

Nearly three-quarters of young people aged 15 to 24 in 92 countries with available data are off-track to acquiring the skills needed for employment, according to a new report published by the Education Commission and UNICEF ahead of World Youth Skills Day.

The report, titled ‘Recovering learning: Are children and youth on track in skills development?’ features analyses on skills development in early childhood, and among children of primary school age and youth, according to a statement issued on Thursday.

LinkedIn is an American social media network developed specifically for employment and job-related services. It is well established in the developed world as a place for employers and potential job seekers to look for their desired options.
